This person needs to be a self-starting, goal-oriented person with good organizational and communications skills. Person will assist in all areas of crop production, as well as other activities related to the farm. Prefer 5+ years of experience with crop production. Person will adhere to safety policies and practices according to company standards. Person will assist in maintaining proper flow and scheduling through the shop, as most equipment is prepared and readied months in advance. Candidates need to know precision equipment and prefers a candidate with planting through harvest experience. Current or recent crop production and Ag management experience, knowledge of modern row crop farming, including GPS is needed. Need person who works well with people and who can communicate well people. Candidates need to be personable and organized in this position as they will help oversee 4+ full-time employees plus seasonal employees. Compensation depends upon experience and will pay more than position is listed for a well-qualified person. Operation is located near good schools, nice towns and good people.
