Job Description

We are in search of a skilled BIM modeler to join our esteemed residential construction team based in Long Island City, NY. The preferred candidate should possess a robust comprehension of building design and construction procedures, particularly in crafting and refining 3D models through BIM software. Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and various stakeholders, this individual will play a pivotal role in crafting meticulous and precise building models and deriving construction documentation from them.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and refine 3D building models utilizing BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Liaise with architects and engineers to seamlessly incorporate design components into BIM models.
• Produce precise construction documentation, including detailed drawings and specifications, derived from BIM models.
• Engage closely with the project team to verify that BIM models faithfully capture design intent and fulfill project specifications.
• Stay updated on industry standards and cutting-edge practices pertaining to BIM modeling and construction technology.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, or similar programs)
• Solid understanding of building design, construction processes, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in high-end residential building projects is desirable.
