About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and maintaining the enterprise risk management program and framework, providing a continuous risk perspective on the company's strategy and operations to the board and senior management. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, including management positions, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. The Chief Risk Officer will be responsible for managing, identifying, evaluating, and reporting on the company's risks, both internally and externally, and will oversee areas such as audit, compliance, loan review, and enterprise risk management. Applicants for the Chief Risk Officer position at the company should possess strong auditing skills, a thorough understanding of the industry's operations and risks, and the ability to initiate and support change in a collaborative manner. Experience in building and supporting risk management programs, as well as effective leadership and management skills in related areas such as internal audit, compliance, and credit quality review, are essential. The Chief Risk Officer will also be expected to work closely with all levels of management, the board, and regulators.
