The company is a 35+ year old family-built business and collects gently used clothing and household items for local charities throughout the United States. We collaborate with various civic and religious organizations as well as municipalities to provide fundraising opportunities. Additionally, we recycle used garments that otherwise would end up in an incinerator or landfill. We are seeking individuals to help build our presence in the United States. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, love a rewarding challenge, and have the desire to excel in their profession.
Description: The position is responsible for creating and cultivating partnerships within their designated geographic territory to inform and educate potential partners on the financial support we can provide through participation in our clothing drive and sustainability programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Develop prospect lists, cultivate relationships (not limited to) schools, churches, PTO/PTA's, sports
- Responsible to reach goals and quotas set by Fundraising Director
- Educate groups about the clothing drive program, recycling and sustainability
- Arrange fundraising drives and celebrate with partner's success
- Work with local school districts, churches and non-profits to become partners
- Speaking at booster club meetings, PTO/PTA's, schools, churches, non-profits
- Enter daily activity and confirmed drives into CRM, work with drive team to ensure execution of drive
- 75-100 contacts per week including: visits, voicemail, phone, email, text and video calls
- 16 plus new drives per month average after 26 weeks training
- Report weekly expenses and mileage to Sales Director for reimbursement
- Attend bi-weekly teleconference call/sales-meeting with Sales Director
- Inform clients of number of pounds collected for the drive and present check in person, if able
- Provide marketing tool kit, signs, banner flags to organizer of drive and ensure return once drive complete
- Work with drive organizer on the advertising of drives on social media and other avenues to make a successful drive
- Cold call to solicit clothing drives in territory using associated demographic map
- Follow up with drive organizer prior to drive to ensure all items are covered for successful drive
- Provide Sales Director weekly report and summary and ensure CRM has record of all activity
- Ensure all clients have linked to our social media, provided feedback of drive and recommendations
- Travel within market and territory is required, some out of market travel may be necessary

Education, Experience, Training Required: - High School diploma or equivalent and some college
- Previous fundraising and or sales experience
- Non-profit, booster club, or PTO/PTA experience a plus
- Valid driver's license reliable
