BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Sr. Planner, Facilities to work for a leading Greater Los Angeles area biotechnology company.

Pay Range : $35-45/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Safety and GMP procedures, ensure a safe work environment
  • Primary System Administrator for the CMMS
  • Input and delete new equipment records into the system
  • Process Corrective work orders
  • Process Preventive maintenance work orders
  • Process Calibration work orders
  • Generation of automatic scheduling
  • Provide required management and regulatory reports
  • Sustain the equipment files and work history files
  • Execute the Facilities Change Control Program
  • Maintain GMP equipment history
  • Maintain parts inventory
  • Scheduling and Planning with vendors and contractors
  • Meet with department leaders and plan scheduling on PM’s and Cal’s
  • Understand storeroom inventories, min/max, and manages parts inventory and prioritize ordering.
  • Work with production scheduling and provide input on work orders based on maintenance capacity, parts inventory, scheduled projects, and maintenance resources
  • Track all PM/CAL/CM Work Orders and follow throughout completion
  • Provide Monthly overdue report of work orders
  • Ensure all assets are setup with schedules
  • Maintain Asset tracking for all equipment locations within BMRAM
  • Facilitate regularly occurring meetings with maintenance staff, including maintenance pre- and post-meetings and tracks key metrics associated with work orders
  • Overlook asset inventory of non BMRAM items i.e. Scale up items
  • Negotiate best rates for service agreements
  • Support maintenance department staff and maintain training records
  • Monitor and ensure locations are maintained up to standard and make recommendations to improve the appearance and safety of the location.
  • Leading general office support functions to include noting any office or building deficiencies, fire hazards or other common interior/exterior building problems
  • Support drafting and maintaining department SOP’s
  • Review and approve orders for office supplies for department use
  • Process and track facilities purchasing activities
  • Pull data and reports from Blue Mountain RAM system to assist in the development of staff metrics
  • Provide clerical support to Facilities and Engineering
  • Communicate with our customers to provide updates and clarifications if necessary
  • Provide reports to support validation requirements, deviations

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of working experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Blue Mountain preferred but not required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
  • GMP facility experience preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience working in an FDA regulated environment preferred but not required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required
  • A Self-starter and a dedicated team player, committed to providing high-quality support to all organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to multitask and exercise good judgment
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Detailed oriented with good follow-up skills
  • Proficient in computer usage with standard business software
  • Able to travel between different sites
  • Proficient in various computer programs like MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to organize assigned tasks in a high paced GMP environment and concurrently monitor tasks / assignments with others that may impact timely completion.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift/move 25 pounds.
