Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely loads and unloads vessels, barges, rail cars and trucks.
• Inventory: Must be able to convert gross gauge numbers to net using API, temperature and VCF.
• Transloading: Truck to truck, railcar to truck, and truck to railcar.
• Able to gauge tanks, railcars and trucks.
• Performs regular inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
• Safely operates moveable equipment to load and unload materials and supplies.
• Performs other job-related duties as training allows and assigned by supervisor.
• Cleans job site, ensures all equipment, tools and materials are returned to proper place.
• Dockman: Receive 48 hours of training required by the USCG to become Dock PIC.
• Proficient in terminal operating management systems.
• Participate in facility commissioning when required
• Proficient in P&ID review
• Participate in PHA’s, PSSR’s, Design reviews, P&ID reviews, etc...
• General working knowledge of JSA’s, general work permits, Hot work permits.
• Ability to perform facility Log sheets, and round sheets

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years related experience in terminal, pipeline or marine operations preferred.
• General knowledge of equipment and maintenance of pumps, meters, truck loading rack, and dock facility preferred.
• Experience in leading others.
• Experience trouble shooting various issues with terminal operations.
• 3+ Experience in Dearrnan DCS controls or similar controls
• General knowledge of terminal reporting and V&P

C ertifications:

• Maintain TWIC card, Port escort badge if required.
